Production Process

RAW MATERIALS

The first production process was carried out by collecting pre-consumed waste (recycled patchwork) by sorting by type of textile material and color to provide the exact formula according to the required yarn specifications. 80% of the raw materials used by the company are yarn made from recycled textile waste. Where the yarn manufacturing process does not use a coloring process, but the raw materials for colored yarn are taken from textile waste raw materials that have been colored, so that the Company’s products are environmentally friendly. In addition to using yarn, the Company also uses non-woven raw materials which also come from textile waste. For the remaining 10% of raw materials, complementary materials, such as sewing thread, rubber lining, and plastic wrapping still use non-waste materials.

SEWING PROCESS

a. Pre-Sewing
This process is the process of preparing raw materials, namely recycle yarn before entering the sewing process. For pre-stitching, the Company requires a briding machine and a cutting machine. The briding machine will be used to make wicker thread which will then be processed in a zigzag sewing machine, which will then give an output like a spiral mat. Furthermore, the Company will cut the yarn bundle with a certain weight and length using a cutting machine which will then be followed up using a walkingfoot sewing machine with various types of products, ranging from mops, mats and napkins.

b. Sewing
After preparing the thread in the pre-sewing process, the next step is to enter the sewing stage using several types of sewing machines with different product outputs. First, the Company uses a walkingfoot sewing machine to sew thread bundles into mop products so as to produce various mop products such as trilian mop, baquette mop, round mop and 2 color mat. Furthermore, the Company also produces wool mats using tufting sewing machines. Then some products that require a loop shape will use a loop end sewing machine and in the process of making spiral mats will use a zigzag sewing machine.

c. Post-sewing
In the post-sewing process, the Company uses several types of sewing machines to finalize various outputs. Such as tidying up by scraping the edges of various products by using a crushing machine, or providing product edges and installing sockets.

FINISHING

After each product is finished at the sewing stage, it enters the finishing stage. At this stage, each finished product will be equipped with accessories or accessories such as providing an anti-slip rubber layer for the wool mat and providing a brand label which is done with a single needle sewing machine.

QC & PACKING

Furthermore, the Company will ensure that the products to be distributed to the market are in accordance with the specifications determined by the Company. The finished product will go through a quality control process by conducting a visual check on product quality, adjusting the size and weight to predetermined standards and ensuring the cleanliness of each product. After fulfilling the quality control process, the product will be packed using plastic wrap and put together using a cartonbox.
